Bates and Lambourne have over thirty years’ experience of manufacturing high quality furniture to commission for domestic, institutional and public use. We specialise in solid timber construction, principally using English and European hardwoods.

Repair and repolishing of old or damaged furniture and interior woodwork can be undertaken, both at our Oxfordshire workshops and on site. Design and development work is done in-house, as well as in association with architects and designers prior to manufacture.

We pride ourselves on our ability to undertake a broad range of work with skill, professionalism and commitment. Styles range from traditional Oak and Ash English country furniture to the contemporary, but always with an emphasis on quality, durability and fitness for purpose.
